Fomo Tops Pump.fun in Daily Revenue

Fomo briefly overtook Pump.fun in daily protocol revenue, generating approximately $1.76 million compared with roughly $1.1 million for the Solana memecoin platform in the snapshot reported on September 7. The result marked a short-term change at the top of Solana’s revenue rankings, rather than a reversal of the longer-term gap between the two platforms.

Data from DefiLlama’s Solana revenue dashboard shows Fomo at approximately $17.6 million in trailing 30-day revenue, while Pump.fun generated more than $57 million over the same period. Pump.fun therefore retained a substantial lead on a monthly basis despite Fomo winning the reported daily comparison.

Daily Revenue Shows Different Trading Dynamics

Fomo operates as a social trading application combining self-custodial token trading with features that let users follow market activity and other traders. DefiLlama classifies revenue from its wallet as trading fees collected by the application. A sharp increase in user activity can therefore translate quickly into higher daily revenue, but a single session does not establish a durable run rate.

Pump.fun follows a different model built primarily around token launches and the trading infrastructure surrounding them. Its broader activity base has produced considerably more revenue over the trailing month, showing why daily leaderboard positions can differ significantly from longer-period performance.

Fomo has also expanded its product range, launching perpetual futures in June alongside its existing spot and social-trading features. The company separately raised a $75 million Series B led by Index Ventures that month. Those developments show Fomo is scaling beyond its original trading experience, but they should not be treated as proof that perpetuals or its funding round directly caused the latest revenue spike.

Pump.fun Keeps the Longer-Term Lead

The contrast between $1.76 million in daily Fomo revenue and the much larger 30-day total for Pump.fun illustrates the limitations of isolated protocol rankings. Daily revenue can capture bursts of concentrated activity, while monthly figures provide a broader view of how consistently a platform monetizes user demand.

DefiLlama’s figures can also change as rolling 24-hour windows update, so exact daily readings should be treated as snapshots rather than fixed accounting periods. The stronger conclusion is that Fomo temporarily moved ahead in short-term revenue while Pump.fun remained dominant over 30 days.

For Solana, the competition highlights how different trading models can generate substantial fee income from the same ecosystem. Whether Fomo can convert its daily surge into sustained revenue growth will depend on recurring trading activity, while Pump.fun’s longer-term position will hinge on maintaining demand across its launchpad and trading products.
